Don’t miss the last Saturday Summer Street Fest of the season, Saturday, September 3, 2011, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. To end the summer, Saturday Summer Street Fest has nothing but the best to liven up the streets of Downtown Hampton! The spectacular entertainment includes music performed by former American Idol® contestant Felicia Barton and locals favorite Slapwater. The children’s area offers plenty of summer fun including unlimited rides, face painting and other activities for only $4 a ticket, presented by Calvary Assembly of God.

Felicia Barton –

 A Virginia Beach native, Felicia Barton has been performing from a very early age, starting from when she was just two years old. She was a contestant on the eighth season of American Idol® and was originally eliminated in the Top 50 round, but was reinstated as part of the Top 36 after a disqualification.

Slapwater –

Winner of the best local band award, Slapwater provides a musical variety from a soft dinner set to livelyRock 'n Roll, Motown, Beach, Disco, Oldies and all of your favorite dance music.
